The following interview reflects the personal experience and views of an individual who previously engaged William Blackstone Internacional for advisory services. It is provided for contextual background and general informational purposes only.
My career has always had an international focus, with a strong emphasis on sustainable economic cooperation. I see the diplomatic role as a natural extension of that work: an opportunity to build economic, cultural, and institutional bridges between countries and to create long-term added value for both sides.
My key priorities are supporting Ivorian citizens in Hungary, fostering economic and institutional relations, and actively facilitating investment and cooperation projects between Hungary and Côte d’Ivoire, always in close coordination with the relevant authorities.
The biggest challenge was combining patience, precision, and cultural understanding. Diplomatic processes follow different timelines and logic than business decisions, accepting that and supporting the process constructively was essential.
You should only take this step if you think long-term, have a genuine interest in intergovernmental cooperation, and are prepared to take on responsibility. Credibility, reliability, and respect toward all institutions are indispensable.
Continuity, transparency, and a clear commitment to the country’s interests. Equally important was demonstrating concrete added value, and pursuing it consistently and professionally.
I want my work to be associated with sustainable cooperation, functioning structures, and mutual trust, as a contribution to a stable, forward-looking partnership between Hungary and Côte d’Ivoire.
External support can be very helpful in complex international processes, especially regarding legal, protocol, and organizational questions. The key point, however, is that substantive responsibility and personal integrity must always remain with the mandate holder.
My private-sector experience gives me a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach. I understand the mindset of investors, companies, and institutions, which allows me to initiate realistic, implementable projects that connect diplomatic objectives with economic sustainability.
